Description
Become a math tutor! We are looking for motivated undergraduates to tutor high school girls in math on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school.
You would need to have a working knowledge of mathematics and mathematical concepts, and have a desire to learn how to convey math concepts to others.
* Able to work on the University at Albany Downtown Campus
* Desire to work with at-risk youth
* Ability to convey information clearly and with patience
* Prior experience tutoring or teaching a plus
Hours are Tues & Thurs., 3:30-6:30 p.m.
All applicants will be interviewed.
